Prologue
I feel lucky, for I was paid by my office for this trekking. Only thing I had to do in return to my office was to put some instruments on the way.
This was the longest field trip in my life. I made many records (see personal notes).
I had been to this place one time before as well but this time it was fun filled and adventurous than the previous one.
The route we followed was Kathmandu>Birtamod>Taplejung (Fungling) in motor vehicle and then on foot upto Ghunsa. The visit took between 8-30 Nov 2009.
